Graphic label designs
Pick a design to preview it on your chosen sheet above — your normal templates stay exactly as they were.
Customise your labels
Story-club banner content
This style prints the same banner on every label — sizes to the wide 99×34 mm L7162 sheet. Edits apply instantly; no CSV needed.
Advanced printing options
Turn the guides off for the final run. Print at 100% / Actual size, margins None, background graphics On.
🤏 Labels not lining up? (print offset)
Some printers silently add a top/side margin. Print the test sheet once, measure the gap around the dashed boxes, then enter the millimetres here (negative = moves up/left). Saved on this device only.
How to make your labels
- Add your pupils — paste a list of names, or download the CSV template and add names, classes and subjects.
- Upload the file — your columns are mapped for you automatically.
- Choose your label sheet, preview, then print at 100% scale, or save as a PDF.
No preview? Upload a CSV first.

What can you use the label maker for?
Pupil names are just the start — teachers use the same free tool for all of these.
-
Exercise book labels
Name, class and subject strips for the books that fill a locker and travel home every night.
-
Subject labels
Maths, English, Science, PE and every other subject — colour-coded straight from a CSV column.
-
Folder labels
Ring binders, display folders and topic folders for pupils, classes and staff.
-
Pupil name labels
Coat pegs, trays, drawers, desks and lunchboxes — the start-of-year name blitz in one print run.
-
Storage box labels
Resource boxes, trays and stackable crates in classrooms, cupboards and stock rooms.
Same steps for any of these: add your list, check the preview, print at 100%. Nothing you add is uploaded anywhere.
Your pupil data stays private
Nothing you paste, type or upload is sent anywhere. The label maker runs entirely in the browser on your own device — there is no account, no upload, and no online storage of pupil names. Open the page, make your labels, and close it: the data goes with you.
Printing your labels
Labels are sized for A4 Avery sheets and should be printed at 100% scale with automatic scaling turned off and background graphics switched on, so the colours and alignment guides print accurately. You can also save the sheet as a PDF.
